I should have written this late yesterday afternoon but I wasn't exactly sure what to write.
Tim's test results came back a few hours after I posted yesterdays update. His esophageal biopsies were all negative. His colonosopy biopsies however were not. One came back as an adenoma, a precancerous polyp. It was removed at the time of his colonoscopy and margins were clear.
No colitis was identified, no Crohn's and no answer for the problem that sent us to the ER in the first place. Although I have to say that I am glad it happened as it led him to having the test done and having the polyp removed.
At this point we wait and test again in three years. Three years is a long time to wait and monitor something and we all know how much patience I have.
