Earlier this week Tammie got tagged for her very first meme. I have to admit that I stopped and wondered if someone had to explain that to her (sorry, Tam).
She tagged me in response and since it is all about quirks, obsessions and little known things then it should be no sweat. I certainly have my fair share an abundance a plethora of my own.
1. I don't watch much TV but I do have one guilty pleasure and I feel kind of dumb for even admitting it, I DVR One Tree Hill. Yes, I am 28 and watch a show about high school kids. Actually this season I don't feel so bad since it is four years after high school.
2. Tim snores. Sometimes I kick him in the middle of the night and then pretend to be asleep if he wakes up, it gets him to roll over and then he stops. I think this counts as a quirk and if anyone ever points this out to Tim I am so going to kick you too.
3. I am not sure if this is a quirk or an obsession but it may be a bit odd. My bra and underwear have to match. They have to match my clothing as well as each other. I feel off all day long if I don't match all the way through.
4. This one only slips out once in a while. I am a closet video game junkie. There, I said it. I just came out. Wii, DS, PC games. It's Tims fault, blame him.
5. I am borrowing this one from Tammie. My alarm clock is set to go off at 6:25 AM, I hit the snooze button at 7 minute intervals until about 7:15 AM. Tim sleeps through it, see #2.
6. I wax my own eyebrows every few weeks. A few months back I got this bright idea that I would, uh, perhaps, maybe give myself a bikini wax as well. The bikini wax itself came out okay until I got slightly carried away and wound up with hot wax in an area where I didn't want it and was afraid to pull it off and then the wax got cold and then I got the bright idea to get in the bathtub and got my ass stuck to the tub and can I just say that the beauty supply store sells a wax removal lotion that is safe for the bikini area and holy hell please be careful if you try this at home. The eyebrows and bikini part still happen I am just very, very careful now and also have the lotion on hand. ALWAYS.
Gulp, did I just share that? I am not even sure which category that one falls into but I laugh each time I think about it, hope you at least giggled or sighed and rolled your eyes.
